links, etc Attack of the week: Airdrop tracing there’s a lot to unpack in this attack. personally, the most interesting element in the attack is the overview of how AirDrop works. creating rainbow tables to do the analysis seemed like the logical next step. apple does need to fix this. (it’s a short read.) this came to me via a mailing list that i’m on that has, in my opinion, a decidedly curmudgeonly orientation to its membership. so i feel a real need to look at links from this source with a more adversarial bent....
